Individual 1:1 Dog Training

Training sessions
tailored to your
dog's needs

Each pooch is unique and each situation requires a different approach.

We will start with a free phone consultation when I get to know you and your pup. This is crucial, so I can create a training programme based on the needs of your dog and yourself!

We then work together to help your pup successfully navigate the human world.

With reward–based training we can ensure that your pooch and you have a great relationship, where you understand each other and live in harmony.

Basic Training

Let's teach your dog how to navigate your world! Working on basic skills, so that your pooch can understand what we deem as appropriate behaviour, will have a huge, positive impact on your lives together.

With reward–based training, we will build a strong bond between you and your dog.

Dogs don't know what we won't teach them. They are animals, and it's important to let them express their doggy behaviours. At the same time, we all have things we need our pooches to know, so that we are comfortable in our own homes.

We will equip your dog with those day–to–day skills that will make both your lives easier — from a wait, to emergency stop when you're out and about. Let's find your priorities and work around them, to tailor training programme to your and your dog's needs.

Confidence Building

Having an anxious dog myself I understand how difficult in can be. It inspired me to get qualified in that field and work with fearful dogs.

They need a very special approach which calls for lots of patience and understanding. The easiest things in life are hard to deal with for those dogs.

Anxiety is a state of constant anticipation that something bad will happen. Their nervous system can keep them alert at all times, causing dysfunction in their digestive and cardiovascular systems, and affecting the whole body — their physical and mental health. It makes it challenging to understand even simple cues. This can cause frustration on our part, which is completely understandable!

Once we understand where their behaviours are coming from, we can work together on building up your dog's confidence to help them function better in life.

I know this is difficult for you, too! I always come from a place of understanding to help you and your dog have an amazing relationship, where your pup can come out of their shell and enjoy a happy life with you.

Rescue Dogs

Rescuing a dog is such a noble thing to do! It's also rewarding, because it changes the whole world for that one little creature you've decided to bring into your life.

Together, we can work to prepare you for bringing a rescue dog into your home to make sure you and them live in harmony.

It is crucial to know how to prepare your environment, so that you and your whole family are comfortable, and your pooch feels safe. It is the very basis of building your new relationship with your dog.

We will not only prepare you and your house for a new dog, but we will then work with your pup to teach them how to understand the rules of new reality they found themselves in.

Dogs don't know what we won't teach them. And rescue dogs might have had a very difficult past, which might mean that even being in a human house is something they have never experienced before.

By working together, we can give your pooch tools to successfully fit in in your life and help you understand how to do that, so you can all live a very happy life together.

Loose Lead Walking

We can teach your pooch how to walk nicely on the lead, so you and them can enjoy lovely walks together.

It's very common for dogs to pull on the lead. They don't know we don't like that. The outside world is very stimulating to them. Distractions are all around us when we're out and about. And dogs don't only see it all, but they also have incredibly sensitive sense of smell. They want to follow those scents and sniff out all the interesting information.

It is crucial to allow them to use their nose. It is their primary sense. They get way more information by sniffing, rather than looking.

Together, by consistent work and gradual introduction of distractions, we can teach them what walking nicely on the lead means. Your walks can become a balanced experience when your dog can be a dog, use their nose and not pull you everywhere you go.
